There's something rotten in the state of Denmark

Yesterday was supposed to be a day of celebration. It did become that, but not for those that deserved it.

It was the day that the government issued national election was to be held. With 3 weeks notice.

After 6 years of hell with a right-wing party sitting in the government taking decisions on behalf of the whole country - yesterday was supposed to be the day of liberation.

What have the last 6 years brought us? What have this man done?

Well he has helped Denmark out of it's national debt, wonderful.
Now is the time to use the extra money where the money is due. On the sick, the weak, the poor, the children, the elderly... Right?
Absolutely not, lets use the extra money on TAX RELIEF!!!

Lets give most of the money to those that vote right-wing. Let's give the richest another 625 dollars a year to spend on fancy TVs and cars that suck up all the gas.
The poorest will be fine with 62 dollars extra a year...

What about the sick? - Oh, well thet don't provide us with anything anyway, so 1 doctor per 30 patients is perfectly fine and a nurse tending to them 5 minutes aday is fine too. They need to stop being so demanding, sheeeesh!

What about the overworked doctors and nurses? - What about them? They chose that job, if they don't like it they're free to leave. It's a free country.

What about the people that live off a lousy social security because they're too sick or weak to work? - They're lazy, there's a diffeence. Everyone has to work for theyr own money. We won't supply them with money if they don't want to work (the fact that they really do want to work but can't doesn't matter...)

What about the elderly then? - What about them? A shower once a week should be enough, a toilet visit a day and diapers the rest of the day? What more could they possibly want???

And the children then? - They're their parents' responsibility, we can't babysit everyone. Kindergarten? So the parents don't like 25 toddlers per 1 kindergarten teacher? So what, then why don't they stop breeding and get back to work... Maternity and paternity leave is expensive enough...
Those parents need to live up to their responsibility and not expect everyone else to do the work for them...

The parents that are working 10 hours a day in the hospital nursing the sick that are stocked in the hallway because all the rooms are taken by even more sick and elderly people that ended up there because they didn't get good enough help to begin with...

Way to go Anders Fogh Rasmussen, you REALLY helped Denmark grow healthy and independant.

Everyone loves you and everyone loves how you and George W. Bush are soul mates who enjoy eating your, citizen-paid, caviar and drinking champagne while you watch innocent people in Iraq get their heads blasted off and laughing at the returning shoulders that cry like babies because they - boo hoo - went to war. (SIGH - Yeah, right... how can you be so cynical?!)

After 6 years of that, it would only be about time for a national election where people have had enough and went to vote social democratic. Where people went to vote for welfare over tax relief.
Voted for a government who cares about our future, about our children, about the sick and the elderly...

But no. People have not learned a thing... The 58 % that voted for the right-wing ONCE AGAIN, must be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome (Starting to care for your capturers).

It was one hell of a party last night - one that the Danish citizens will pay for with a nasty hangover that should last the next 3-5 years...

War

We're in the year 2007 - we're about to enter 2008.

We've got a technology that gets better and better by the minute! Even the 60s speed development wasn't as fast as what we're experiencing today.

Medically, in technology, mentally, even spiritualy...

So how come some people still think war is a solution to anything?
Sure they bring in the modern technology, but that does not make war "modern", "ethical" or anything close to "good".

War is still an oldfashioned way to try and solve things, a caveman-like behaviour.

War kills. War destroys. War makes history - a dark one at that.

It's time we wake up an realize this. The negative outcome DOES outweigh the positive outcome.

And why did I decide to rant about this now?
Because I just read an article that says 11% of adult Americans are war veterans. That tells a story of it's own that I don't think I need to get into...
What got my attention is that, we all know how many people live on the streets in the US - now picture all these people and you wonder how it happened?

Well let me tell you something, 1/4th of all the people living on the streets are war veterans. And not just from Vietnam. From Iraq and Afghanistan too.
This is a frightening figure.

These war veterans have a hard time adjusting to a normal life when they get back home.
Who can blame them? They went through alot.

This means the total loss and destruction goes up ALOT from the numbers you normally hear. Because those numbers are not counting those that lived, but still lost by ending up on the street and got their lives destroyed. (And the lives of those that love them)

Wake up. Find a more civilized way to solve your problems.

I want to make one thing clear... I am NOT bashing the soldiers, the men and the women that leave home to fight for what they think is right. They're very brave and should be admired for their courage.
I know alot of them do make a difference. And I know alot make it home safely and returns to their lives.
But they should never have been sent out in the first place.

No human should be given that task. No human being deserves to be that close to a war.

To the governments around the world, including the Unites States of America:
Please stop abusing your young men and women who trust and love you enough to be willing to die for you.
The trust will end somewhere and you'll have turned the love into hate.

I'm not stupid afterall

I found this Japanese IQ test, not your common IQ test. It's said to be given to job applicants in Japan.

I did solve it, and yes it was frustrating!
But I had it solved in less than 15 minutes
- I read somewhere that there's usually a time limit of 15 minutes on this test. I didn't read that till after I had solved it though.

The rules (please read them) and a link to the game can be found here:

What do we want?

What do we want from the people around us? What do we expect from them?

It's normal for a person to carry themselves along. Moved by their own wants, feelings and instincts even. Held up by their own spirit and willpower. It's the number one instinct of human nature; survival. After that comes wants and goals.
For animals survival is the most important instinct aswell and it's common for a pack to leave a sick or wounded packmember behind if it's slowing them down. A chain is no stronger than it's weakest link.
Humans are the same way, survival first, even if it means leaving a sick or wounded behind.

Most humans have a strong empathy for their closest; family and friends. Some go beyond and reach out to anyone who needs a helping hand.
But only few people are willing to be slowed down by helping a person who can no longer carry themselves along.

It isn't uncommon to be carried along by others, but it means giving up yourself and going only the ways of the carriers.

I find myself fallen and my spirit broken. Kicked and pushed along in the direction everyone else is going and want me to go.
I'm fallen, so "choice" is no longer an option for me. If I can't carry myself along, I don't get to choose my path. Should I try anyway, I would get left behind as the sick and wounded animal that is slowing down the entire pack.
My broken will is in the way and I'm nothing but an obstacle.
My spirit fight for it's right to choose it's own path. I do have a choice, but it's one that could easily break me.
Should I just let myself float along, carried by others' wants and maybe in the end get back on my own feet, but with the feeling of having lost a big part of me and my worth?
Or should I give up and let them go. Fall to the ground alone and wait... And in the end, either shrink and dissapear or raise to my own two feet, alone but with my self intact?

We want the people around us to walk behind us on our path, to fit in. We expect them to do as we do and not be in the way.
- If they don't live up to it, we leave them behind.

Less tax for women

Two italian economists, Andrea Ichino and Alberto Alesina - men - have suggested that since it seems impossible to achieve equal pay for men and women, that maybe women should simply pay less in tax. So the end result would be that men and women get the same payment.

Obviously that idea is generally a bad idea in the view of a man and a good idea in the view of a woman, yes, jealousy is a bad thing. Hehe.

In all seriousness though;
I'm a woman (possibly of the few) who believes that men and women will never and should never be completely equal. Simply because - we ARE not equal. We do not, biologically, possess the same abilities. Generally speaking.
Usually men are good with space, math, logic and speed. And they can't multitask.
Women are good with creative things, overview, details and they multitask really well.
Men don't read emotion well, women do.
Men read maps and sketches well because they can transform it into 3D - so to spek. Women can't.
All generalized of course.

That having been said, of course the pay needs to be equal for the same amount of work. A female burger flipper shouldn't be making less than the male burger flippers. A female doctor shouldn't be making less than a male doctor.
And so forth...

The same job done with the same effeciency requires the same paycheck regardless of gender.

So as for that, yes, lowering taxes for women until they reach the same outcome (or income rather!) in pay as the men have, would be a good idea.
But the idea has some major flaws...

There's going to be some male managers out there who simply do not agree. And so they either just lower the women's salary even further or they up the men's salary.
So unless the tax is fixed individually on a yearly basis for every single working person, I doubt it would work.

But the idea is good and the debate it creates is even better.

To spank or not to spank

I just watched something on TV and apparently this is one of the things parents still can't seem to agree on: Should spanking be part of raising your children or not?

I don't hear alot of arguments FOR spanking.
The most used is "Well, sometimes it's just needed!"

I'm wondering why it's sometimes just needed? It must be because the parent can't find another method of getting their child to behave a certain way.

To me, hitting is a sign of weakness. When people get into a regular fistfight, it's usually because words weren't good or effective enough.
And so instead of finding another way of dealing with it, it breaks into a fight.

The same goes for spanking your child, words aren't effective enough, so a spanking takes care of that.

It is in no way fair, because the child has no way of fighting back.

It is also not really teaching the child good morale. It may effective in the moment, but does it teach anything?
It does.
It teaches that is ok to hit someone that is smaller than yourself.
It teaches that if you can sort things out with words, hitting is an ok alternative.
It certainly doesnt teach the child to try to find another solution to their problems.

No, spanking does not necessarily raise violent people, but it certainly doesn't prevent it either.

There ARE alternatives to hitting your child. I realize you can't talk to a child the same way you talk to an adult, but you can explain to them that it makes you feel bad when they do something and that you would like them to do this or that instead. If they are to young to understand that, then they're too young to understand and reason why they're being spanked aswell.
At that age it'll require alot of patience, yes, but wake up; its part of parenting!
The child does't have to be very old before it can understand other measures of deciplining.
Such as taking away something the child likes for a period of time. TV, computer, favorite toy...
Or giving the child a timeout.

There are better ways of making a point, than by hitting!

I don't see any good reason to hit, especially not a child.

Nervous

Nervous… the feeling you get before a big test, giving a speech, being the host of an important party, going to a job interview, visiting friends… Visiting friends? Sadly, yes.
A visit to some friends’ house can indeed be very enjoyable, giving and entertaining.
But for me, it is something to just get over with.

I dread it long before we go and when we arrive I’m already calculating when I can leave again without being rude. I may have a good time there, but I don’t feel calm, relaxed and comfortable like you really ought to when you’re with friends.

Before leaving to visit some friends I may feel sick, which of course, only adds to the stress and dread of going. What if I’m still sick when we get there? I don’t want that kind of attention, you don’t go to other peoples home and be a bother! Maybe I should just stay home… Oh, what kind of a friend am I! I have to go, I don’t have a choice.

These thoughts and physical symptoms are not only occurring before visiting friends. They may occur before (and during) many events. Usually events involving other people and/or are situations I can’t easily get out of.

It’s not that I mind other people; I just wish I could be invisible among them.
I am afraid, but of what? I’m not sure, mostly of negative attention I think.

I remember one time we went to the Netherlands to visit my in-laws; they wanted us to come to church with them on Sunday. I had just had a cold and was in the stage where many people get tickly cough. The kind of dry, irritating cough that just won’t stop when it’s started. It will usually bring tears to your eyes, even before it starts, and the worst – it always happens when it’s most inconvenient.

Of course it happened to me inside the church, shortly after the service had started. Despite my stash of bonbons to keep me from coughing, it had to happen. I scrambled through the row of people and towards the door – to find it locked. Pulled on it a few times. It felt like forever and I knew people were watching me, but finally someone came to my help and showed me another door that was unlocked.
I stood outside with tears in my eyes, partly from the cough and part from being so embarrassed. It stopped and went back inside, only to have it begin again right after I had sat down. Again I rushed out, remembering to use the unlocked door this time. I found my way to the car where I spent the rest of the service. Ashamed of how rude I had been to cough and rush out of the church twice! And then to stay out, despite my in-laws wishes of us joining them. We had even been mentioned and welcome by the minister, because we had from so far away. The shame!

I know many would just shrug something like this off, some might even be a little embarrassed, but to me it was horrible and I was more than relieved that we were heading back home that day.

I get through the days without much trouble. I just try to avoid the troubling situations. I don’t visit friends much, I don’t invite people over much either and I try to keep my mind of things that may lead to too much worry and nervousness.

Unfortunately life consists of so many things that are possible to worry about. A phone for example is often used to deliver bad news. The mailbox is usually full of bills and invoices. Money is a huge issue if you, like me, worry about any possible thing you can worry about. I’m not quick to disagree when someone makes the statement that money is the root of all evil!
The sound of a car outside the house, when I don’t expect anyone can be very frightening.

Having me as a passenger in a car can be quite a ride, I’ll often say things like “Watch that woman!, “Look out for the dog!”, “It’s red!”. I don’t do it because I don’t trust the driver, but because I get images of bad things happening. I can see the woman tumbling across the engine hood, blood and her face twisted in pain. I can hear the sound of the brakes and the cry of the dog. I can almost feel the impact as our car slam into another in the intersection. I don’t mean to be rude… I really don’t.

As much as I wish to sometimes, I cannot lock myself in the house, bolt the doors and windows and unplug the phone. I refuse to live like that. I have to visit friends, I have to accept visits, I have to have a phone (That’s plugged in and able to actually ring!), I have to go to the theater, the beach, the mall, a festival, a market and things like that. But I’m not so sure for who I do those things? For me or for the people around me. I think it’s mostly the latter. I expose myself to situations where I feel uncomfortable again and again, I do things despite how I really feel about it, I try to live up to what people expect me to do.
But of course, I know, it isn’t just for others, it’s for me too. I know if I allowed myself to avoid every situation I find threatening, they would only get more and more threatening and the list of worries would grow.

I have learned that nervousness and worry are two things that are somewhat controllable – and not by avoiding things that cause them, but by doing the opposite, by facing them.

I live with the worry, I live with the nervousness and as a result I get tired, very tired, I get moody and my health isn’t as good as I could desire it to be.

I still push people away, I rarely go on visits and I still avoid “bad” situations, I have too if I don’t want to pass out from exhaustion. I only hope I don’t do it enough for the nervousness and worry to escalate.

The only positive thing I can think of right now is that I get to know who my real friends are…

A family on the run

An entire family running from the government to protect their 6 year old foster child from being taken away from them and put in a fosterhome untill she can be adopted by another family...

It sound almost like the intro to a drama movie, doesn't it?

None the less is this the truth for a family in Denmark.

From the little girl was born and till she was 10 months old, she had already lived 7 different places. When she was 10 months old the little family took her in their care.

For unknown reasons the biological mother decided that now it was time for the girl to be given up for adoption.

The family who the child had been with since she was just an infant immediately applied to adopt her, at this time she was as a daughter to them, of course.
Psychologists and Childcare organizations all agree that it is best for the girl to stay in the family she has been with for so long.
Despite this fact officials have decided to follow the request of the biological mother - who obviously has meant nothing but trouble to the child.

Some childcare organizations have wrote to the minister of family affairs, Carina Christensen, to have her stop the tragedy that is happening.

She hasn't. And so yesterday the day had come for the family to give up the girl. They didn't. Instead officials found their home abandoned and no one yet knows where the family is.

They are most likely running to protect themselves and the girl.

If they are... may God keep them safe and out of the greedy hands of the Danish government.

Honour

17 years old and in love, sounds wonderful, right?

NO.

Du'a Khalil Aswad fell in love with someone of another religion.
This cost her, her life.

A group of male relatives dragged her outside by her neck, to a waiting crowd of excited, yelling men.

She was thrown on the ground where she was kicked and stoned to death.

30 MINUTES
30 minutes, that is how long it took before she finally died.
30 minutes, that is how long kicks and stones were raining down on the crying, bleeding girl.
She fought for her life, eventhough she never had a chance.
When she died, the crowd cheered.

WHY?
Why was this necessary? Her only "crime" was that she fell in love.
The reason for her killing was that she had hurt her family's honour.

This cannot be humans, who think honour is worth more than a life.
It can't be humans who think it will save their honour to beat a defenseless girl to death.

What is worse, falling in love with someone of another religion.
Falling in love is a natural thing, that God invented!

Or torturing a person to death who has no chance to defend themself.

I wonder which act God find most disgusting...

SADISTIC
I don't understand why she had to die in the first place.
There's no way to justify her death.

I wouldn't defend the killers even if they had killed her fast and painlessly, let that be clear.
But WHY did it have to take 30 minutes?
Why did they have to torture her, break her bones and crush her face with stones?
Why did it have to drag on for so long...

To me, that is evidence that they enjoy killing. They enjoy watching the pain they inflict another being with. The more pain the more excited they get.
The more pleasure they get out of it.

They can't be human. This act is pure evil.

May they all burn in hell for what they have done!!!!

If I could, I'd revenge her death myself.

WARNING
VERY GRAPHIC AND DISTURBING PICTURES BELOW.

The reason I put the pictures inhere, is because I want the world to see just how horrible and cruel this is. It has to stop.
Link to a video provided below the pictures, it is very very disturbing and it may not stay on Youtube for long.

Aswad is fighting for her life.
Bleeding and probably already fatally bruised.

The rock beside her has just been thrown at her.

Afterlife

Why are people worth more in death than in life?

I wonder, would I be loved and understood more when I'm dead than I am now?
Like Van Gogh's paintings, would my opinions be worth more when I'm no longer there to state them?
Would people slowly forget my flaws, my faults, mistakes and only remember the good?
Would they cry for me and finally be dying to give me a hug?
Would they want to take back all the cruel words, the coldness they showed me, would they regret?

Why can't people be towards the living as they wish they had been towards the dead...

The happy Danes...

A couple of days ago, I stumpled upon an article on BBC news. (Link at the bottom)
What do you know, the article was a research (!) about happiness.

Turns out that when asked about their own happiness, Danes are very happy. Happier than the rest of Europe.
"Many in Denmark put this regularly-surveyed contentedness down to a dynamic economy and a pleasant work-life balance, with people leaving the office on time, jumping on effective public transport and heading off to pick up their delightful children from a shiny, well-run kindergarten. "

Sounds like a Hollywood movie, doesn't it? I am reminded of The Truman Show, don't ask me why.

Work vs Family
"Denmark is very consumer-oriented and very family-oriented. People are sure to leave work at 4.30pm. They work their eight hours and go home. Pressure to work overtime doesn't exist."
This is just a lie. People are not sure to leave work at 4:30pm. The next piece of the article says Danes work 37 hours. That is not true. 37 hours is considered full time. There are plenty of people working 40+ or even 50+ hours.
Oh yeah, that's very family oriented.

And yes, pressure to work overtime DOES exist.
I know examples of work places where overtime doesn't officially exist, which means there is no pay for overtime, duh, but overtime does exist. People are stuck in their office till they get the work done. As a matter of fact, I know of people who go to their office on saturdays and sundays from time to time, because of workload!
I'm sure their children appreciate that.

Uemployment
"We have high taxes but we have generous unemployment benefits, a lot of life-long learning. We feel secure and we feel that we have opportunities.
"We have a lot of faith in government as an institution. The authorities are normally competent, uncorrupt and approachable."

Unemployment is lower than other places in Europe, but the unemployment benefits are not easy to get.
Once again I know of examples... People who can't work because they lack the energy, have some kinds of medical problems or are just stressed out, and yet the municipality wants to force them into job activation (which are usually low-life jobs that are underpaid) and if they don't do it, their cash assistance is taken away.
Sure, that will help.
Need I say, that all forms of economic assistance is based on household income and household debt is not considered.

Medical help
As for feeling secure. I know I don't. The authorities are not always competent, the rate of medical malpractice has been as high as 29%, last year.
(For more info about that, please read this blogpost: link.)

Education
On a good note, we do have lots of educational opportunities. Anyone (with the right grades) can go to university/college, they only have to pay for their own books and any study trips.
As a matter of fact anyone has a right to 5 years cash assistance, education grant, while studying.
Although the grant is low and usually not enough to pay for a decent living.

Anyway...

Low Expectations
"But a study by the University of Southern Denmark earlier this year found success in happiness surveys might be down to low expectations."

It isn't fair to say that Danes generally have low expectations, sure, Danes are realistic.

Compared to Italy and Spain where people expect too much and get dissapointed, Danes should supposedly expect too little and be pleasantly surprised.
Or as the article more negatively puts it:
"Year after year we're just happy that things didn't go as badly as we'd feared."

This explantion ruins the whole idea that Danes are a happy people, doesn't it?
Walking around expecting too little or fearing the worst doesn't really make people...happy.

I don't believe that Danes expect too little, as a matter of fact, I'd claim that Danes are generally stuck up and proud.

So are the Danes really happy?

There are just around 6 million people in the country and in 2005 alone, 350,000 people received the sunshine drug, the happy pill!
Now that numbers doesn't count people who are depressed but doesn't get help, or those that are so depressed that they get anti-depressants (which are stronger meds than the happy pill) or those that successfully or not tries to commit suicide, or those that end up in mental hospitals...

Happy? No. Not more than others.
Content? Satisfied? No. Not more than others.

We do have the good life, but the good life doesn't make people happy.

Denmark, a nice country... as long as you're healthy!!!!

When I tell people where I am from, the most common response is "WOW, Denmark?"It seems like Denmark in the eyes of people outside of Europe, is some exotic country.

But let me tell you, it is not exotic and no drugs are not legal and meds not free here.
As a matter of fact on top of the insanely high tax you also risk paying an even greater price for living here in "paradise". You risk your life and well being.

Exaggerating? Not at all.

In may 2006 Denmark was number two on the list of countries with the most medical malpractice. 29% of people had relatives that had experienced serious malpractice. That, for a rich country, is not acceptable.

One example of the very serious malpractice, that lead to death, is a case where a doctor on emergency duty missed a case of meningitis. When the 15year old kid was seizures and going unresponsive the emergency call centre turned his family down THREE times.
Then they took him themselves and found out it was meningitis and it had already destroyed half of his brain. They tried to operate on him, but too late.

The worst of it all is that if he had gotten help just 3 hours earlier, he might have survived it.

There are plenty of examples like that

A 47year old woman dies from an asthma attack because the emergency call centre wouldnt send an ambulance and the doc on duty just said over the phone to her husband that she needed to use her inhaler. She died.

A 19 year old girl injures her back in a car accident. The doctors take xrays that reveal nothing. They give her painkillers and send her home. She's almost paralized by pain though and returns for more xrays, that still dont reveal anything.
The thing is, they dont xray the part of her back that she points out is hurting her.
When they finally do, they find a fracture, that has been there since the accident MONTHS ago. She may have trouble with that the rest of her life and not be able to finish her education.

These are more recent examples, but there are tons!

Where do all the tax money go, when the healthcare system obviously suck like that?

I don't feel safe in this country.

Daylight savings, ugh

As a b-person the daylight saving that occurs from winter to summer has always troubled me.

For me winter is long, cold and sad. It is incredibly hard to get out of bed when darkness is what awaits...

Thank goodness for light, it finally happens that it starts to get lighter in the morning and then easier to get out of bed. Finally a chance to feel alive when you wake up.

But then comes the "shock", some A-person has decided that they want more light LATER in the day and that light in the morning doesn't matter that much.

For me, that has always hit hard. The day goes back to being not very inviting. I do like long light summernights, but I wouldn't mind giving them up their full length and have less long summernights, if it meant I didn't have to be flung straight back into darkness when it finally seemed to get better and easier getting up and facing the day.

The burning house

I haven't made any posts in a very long time. And there are several reasons for that.
The primary reason is lack of energy. I have so much going on my head that blogging was not exactly on the top of the to do list.

It's an odd feeling, finding yourself to have so much to say, but no words to say it with. So many feelings, thoughts and considerations that it's nearly impossible to single one thought out.
As if there were hundred of voices in my head, all screaming to get my attention.

I feel like I'm in a burning house with no exit. No doors, only windows, that don't open or break. So all I can really do, is wait for the flames to reach me, all while I see life passing by outside the windows.

It sounds like the ultimate nightmare, doesn't it?

I don't know if I feel sorry for myself. I guess I do in between, when I'm not angry with myself or someone else.

I get angry with myself for getting angry with others, because I am completely the one to blame. No one, but me, is responsible for my happiness.

I don't know who you are, reading this, but thank you for listening.

Now that is (NOT) justice...

A man throws a lit joint in a garbage can when he sees the police coming.
A building is set on fire...

The man realizes he f*cked up, saves 4 kids from the burning building.

He's a hero. - Untill the police finds out he actually started the fire.
Guess what, he goes to jail for 20 TWENTY years.

HOW can that be justice?

NO, he should not have thrown a lit joint in the trash, heck, he shouldn't even have smoked it to begin with. But when he saw what he did, he did what he could to stop the damage - and no one was hurting, only the building!

Had he run from it all, and not even attempted to save people, yes then twenty years would be more than fair. But at least he tried!

Kristopher Leija is only 26 years old, but who knows what kind of a life he'll be facing when he gets out in 20 years.

Is that really what men wants?

I read an article about who has the biggest breasts in Europe. The British are leading followed by the Danish.

The whole article protrayed these big attributes as being something fantastic (Lucky Brits, huh?).

But my question is, is that really what men wants??

I would believe men prefer women where everything sort of fits together, in harmony and all that.

I have a hard time imagining a really slim lady with gigantic melons on the front even standing up straight!(?)

Besides, big breasts doesn't come without a cost:
Backache
Hard to find clothes/bras that look good.
Bras must (often) have wide straps (to prevent cutting into the shoulder).

He put abortion pills in his girlfriend's yoghurt!!!

Today I read an article in a newspaper, about a swedish man who put abortion pills in his girlfriend's yoghurt.
Why???
They were planning to have kids together, but when his girlfriend became pregnant... too soon. The basta... the guy panicked and got his hands on some abortion pills that he crushed and put in her yoghurt!
WHAT THE F... is wrong in the minds of some people?

That night she started getting stomach pains and was taken to a doctor, who told her that both her and her baby was fine.

The guy confessed 3 days later though, and his girlfriend left and went to stay with her mom. She had an abortion anyway, for fear that the pills might have harmed her baby.

I hope that guy rots in hell.

Women and flowers

I've read that women would rather have a bouquet of flowers than a potted plant. Men on the other hand thinks that a potted plant should be worth more to a woman because she can take of it and watch it grow. A bouquet withers and fades away, thus a potted plant has to be better?
Personally I love when my husband buys me potted plants and he often does.

A potted plant doesn't have to be something cheap from the closest store, it can be a really nice decorative plant from a florist's shop.

Waterintoxication - they knew it was dangerous!

So most people are already familiar with the case about Jennifer Strange, but for those that aren't: Strange died from waterintoxication after having participated in a competition hosted by the radiostation KDND 107.9. The contest was "Hold your wee for a Wii", the person who could drink the most water without going to the bathroom would win a Nintendo Wii.

Strange felt sick and stopped participating, she went home and was later found dead. She died from waterintoxication.

Now, I'm sure alot of people weren't even aware that you can die from drinking too much water, afterall water is healthy for you, right?

So if the radiostation didn't know, their flaw was just being crappy researchers. But the latest news proves that they KNEW! They knew it very well! And they joked about it. They also didn't make sure Jennifer Strange saw a doctor when she told them she had a massive headache, just listen to the clip below.

10 people have been fired, but I hope they get to spend some time behind bars aswell, now that this has come out, cause this is completely immature and irresponsible. They were playing with peoples lives! And that cost a mother of three, hers.
